Before you apply

• It is for fresh graduates. You should have completed your education within the last 12 months, or be about to. If you finished three years ago, this is not the right posting for you and we have others.
• We value people who know what they don't know, and say so. If you're honest about your gaps, we'll invest in closing them. That is literally what the first 3 months are.

The role

Allerin builds AI and IoT products. Edge to cloud video intelligence, computer vision systems, and data platforms. We also build and run software for clients who measure whether it works. You will see both.

You will not be given a toy project. Within the training you work on real tickets in real codebases, and your code is reviewed properly, line by line, by people whose job is to make you better at this. Most of what you learn in the first 3 months will not be a language or a framework. It will be how to read a codebase you did not write, how to tell when you are stuck, and how to finish something.

What the 3 months look like

• Reading before writing. You start in an existing codebase, because that is what the job actually is.
• Real tickets, reviewed hard. Small pieces of real work, with review that tells you what is wrong and why.
• Learning to ask. Knowing when to spend another hour and when to put your hand up is a skill, and we teach it deliberately.
• Shipping something. By the end you will have written code that is running.

What you must arrive with

We do not require a particular degree and we are not filtering on your college.

• You can already program in something. Which language matters much less than whether you can build a small thing that works.
• You have built something of your own, however rough, and you can talk about it. See the GitHub requirement below.
• You can read code you did not write without giving up in the first ten minutes.
• You write clearly enough to explain what you did and where you got stuck.
• You finished your education within roughly the last 12 months, or you are about to.

A GitHub account is required to apply. We are not counting stars or green squares. We are looking for something you built and can be questioned on, so a fork you have not committed to or a tutorial followed to the end does not help you. A college project is fine. A half-finished thing you gave up on is fine, if you can tell us why.

How we hire

Read the terms, accept them, then apply. The form is short and the questions are about what you have actually done.

If we talk, we will go through your GitHub with you and ask you to explain your own code. That is most of the conversation. Answers that read as model-generated do not survive it, because we ask what the code does and why you wrote it that way.
